There could not be a more perfect illustrator for Animal Farm than Ralph Steadman. The man is truly amazing and his illustrations in this 50th Anniversary edition make it a must have book for any Orwell or Steadman fan.
Some say Animal Farm is one of the most controversial books ever written. That said, we couldn't be more excited to have this book available in our shop. Nothing beats a good controversial read. This anniversary edition includes Orwell's proposed, but unpublished, preface to the original edition, which gives the book the historical context in which Orwell conceived and wrote this novel.
